The School Day

The school is open to students from 8am till 5pm.  This amounts to 40 hours in a typical week.

The school day starts with the first lesson at 8:50am, and ends at 3:40pm. Students are expected to line –up outside classrooms at 8.45am. Each lesson last 75 minutes. This amounts to 34.2 hours in a typical week.

At lunch time and from 3.45pm onwards each day, enrichment and extension activities take place. The school operates a Homework Extension Club on Monday to Thursday until 5.00pm for students wishing to use the Learning Resource Centre.

Excellent catering facilities are available. Students may purchase lunch on a cafeteria basis or they may bring packed lunches. All food is paid for using the finger scanning system linked to your chiild's ParentPay account.
