Description:

Required from April 2021, we are looking for a highly motivated Personalised Learning Mentor who will lead interventions to support the academic and personal progress of a small group of students. This will also involve working closely with parents. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates who can speak Punjabi and/or Urdu.

Cleaning SupervisorJob Type: 35 hours per week (Term Time only plus 1 week)

Description:

We currently have an opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a Hub of Schools. The role is extremely varied and you will be responsible for a range of areas including:

  • supervising the cleaning staff working at the various locations through monitoring of areas and ensuring high standards are maintained;
  • Managing equipment, materials and stock levels;
  • Training and developing staff;
  • Monitoring and maintaining records in accordance with COSHH regulations.

You will need to be:

  • Experienced in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry;
  • Strong people skills;
  • Attention to detail and high standards of work;
  • Good relationship building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels;
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations;
  • General education to at least National Level 2, e.g. GCSEs grades A*-C.

We would like to appoint a confident, effective and highly motivated person who will make a positive
contribution to the team and our children.

The role involves:

  • supervising the playground area, playing fields, cloakrooms and classrooms etc during
    the lunchtime break.
  • Assisting with the removal of food and equipment once pupils have eaten their lunch.
  • Dealing with minor first aid incidents; following appropriate procedures for recording and
    reporting.
  • Assisting in the implementation of appropriate behaviour management strategies as required.

The successful candidate will be kind, caring and flexible in approach, with a professional manner and
intuitive of the needs of the children.
