NSAT Finance Controller
Working in education is about giving something back!
I spent many years working in large accountancy practices and, after a pause to be Mum, decided I wanted to use my qualification to make a positive difference in my local community. Now, after nearly 8 years working in several Multi Academy Trusts, I’m able to draw on not only my previous business insight but also my education sector experience, to play a key role in supporting our wider Trust community to maximise what we can achieve with the resources we have available.
I love being part of a Trust that gives me the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in diverse communities and across both primary and secondary settings. Finance and budget monitoring can be a challenging area. I aim to provide my colleagues with the information they need and the confidence in our financial systems so they can focus on their own core functions. It is a real pleasure to support each of our individual schools as we all strive to achieve a common goal of giving our students the very best start to enable them to realise their potential.
