Description:

We would like to appoint an ambitious, energetic and highly collaborative Assistant Headteacher who has the enthusiasm and tenacity to uphold the school’s community ethos, in line with the vision and values of the Trust board. Strong and committed leadership is vital to the success of the school.

This post is an opportunity for a committed strategic leader looking either to extend their experience of Assistant Headship, or start their first Assistant Headship in a collegiate and rewarding environment. Accountable to the Head of Academy, the Assistant Headteacher will take full responsibility for priority aspects of behaviour, achievement and student welfare across the school.

To be the successful candidate you will:

  • Demonstrate inspirational leadership qualities, behaviours and attributes;
  • Have excellent, well-developed interpersonal skills;
  • Have a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and flexible working practices;

You will be confident in your abilities to teach effectively across all Key Stages (3, 4 and Post 16) and a specialism in Physics is essential. You will be adept in creating a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for students of all diverse backgrounds. We welcome applications from NQTs as well as experienced teachers.
