Skiptons Girls' High School

Skipton Hub

We believe that education has the power to transform lives and that’s why we strive to provide young women with an innovative, dynamic and academic learning environment which is not constrained by gender stereotypes or a fixed mind-set.

Harrogate High School

Harrogate Hub

Our vision is based upon the school motto of Learning First...We work together to raise the achievement of all students, thereby improving their life chances. By embedding ambition in our students we enable our young people to lead balanced lives as adults, capable of contributing to their community

Hookstone Chase Primary School

Harrogate Hub

As a community school, we are proudly rooted in tradition and it is really important that we continue to celebrate important community events. We will continue to work in collaboration with our families, partner schools and stakeholders to offer our children rich opportunities that support their development.

New Park Primary Academy

Harrogate Hub

We are proud of our school, our delightful children and our community. New Park has a fantastic history of serving the local community since 1896. We have a collection of beautiful Victorian buildings with large, light classrooms, a series of playgrounds and a huge school field. We invest heavily in our learning spaces and have recently renovated and refurbished the Early Years

Starbeck Primary Academy

Harrogate Hub

We aim to provide our children with memorable and powerful learning experiences and promote an ethos of self-belief, respect, resilience and high expectations for ourselves and others in everything we learn and achieve. We value every child as an individual and believe that learning should be purposeful and challenging.

Holycroft Primary School and Nursery

Keighley Hub

Our Holycroft School Vision is both a reflection of what we already do and what we are building on. It is what we are all committed to in order to meet the evolving needs of the school on our journey from good to outstanding. This Vision incorporates the voices of children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community; our Holycroft family of which we are all very proud.

Eastwood Community School

Keighley Hub

We are extremely proud of our community school. Our main aim is to provide a safe, caring, stimulating, creative and happy environment in which every child in our care is able to thrive and learn to the very best of their abilities. We support them and their families so that they become caring, skilful, confident and well-balanced individuals who have lively, enquiring minds and who can reason and make decisions.

Our Vision

At Northern Star Academies Trust, we believe that our role as a committed partnership of schools is to inspire and support learners of all ages to fulfil their potential and better the world.

Message from Jenn Plews - CEO

At Northern Star Academies Trust, we believe that our role as a committed partnership of schools is to inspire and support learners of all ages to fulfil their potential and better the world.

Northern Star Academies Trust was founded in April 2015. Since our inception we have achieved a great deal to grow a thriving and dynamic Trust of primary and secondary schools who serve the vibrant communities of Keighley, Skipton and Harrogate. We are unique in our contextual differences and yet united in our deeply held belief in the power of great education to change lives. Through collaboration, we seek to build on each school’s strengths so that we can have a greater impact on our broader Northern Star community.

In a world of constant change, the one chance our children and young people have to experience an excellent education is precious – by working as a partnership of schools we are in constant pursuit of excellence for every child to make their one chance, truly count!

By far the greatest asset in our Trust is our staff and the greatest asset of our Trust is our children, young people and their families – making a positive difference in their lives is what matters!
